Sakmės serves listeners and creators in the EU. We collect only what we need to run the service.
Accounts
When you sign in we store your email address, display name and the content you create.
Podcast download statistics
When an episode audio file is requested, we log a download count so creators can see how many people listen. For each counted download we store: the episode and show, the time, a hashed IP address, the user agent string of your app or browser, the app type derived from it (for example Apple Podcasts or Spotify) and your country as reported by our network provider.
Your raw IP address is never stored. It is combined with a secret salt that changes every day and hashed with SHA-256, so the hash cannot be reversed or linked across days. These records are used only to count unique downloads (once per episode per 24 hours) and are visible only to the creator of the show, as aggregated totals. Known bots and crawlers are not logged.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in providing creators with audience statistics.
